If you don't know who the infamous Marshall Mathers is and the impact on hip-hop his music has achieved, then you must have been living under a rock or are simply far too young.

Marshall Bruce Mathers II, or as we all know him 'Eminem', is critically acclaimed as one of the greatest rappers in music history.

Many of the best Eminem karaoke songs were written and produced by the 'Rap God' himself and over the past 20 years he has also written and produced tracks for many famous artists including:

  • Ed Sheeran
  • 50 Cent
  • Skylar Grey
  • Jay-Z
  • Yelawolf

Eminem's career has been impressive to say the least with millions of record sales and numerous accolades. He has given us some of the best hip-hop music ever over the past few decades.

His technical prowess and impressive lyricism have been rewarded with albums that have achieved no less than Diamond success, and deservedly so.

  • The Slim Shady LP
  • The Marshall Mathers LP
  • The Eminem Show

On the 1999's The Slim Shady LP he channeled his inner anger into edgy jokes and controversial hits. He continued the same pattern on The Marshall Mathers LP in 2000 with rapping lyrics about murdering his wife and other provocations.

The bad boy of rap released The 'Eminem Show' in 2002 followed by 2009's 'Relapse' and 2013's 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' and returned in 2017 with his ninth album 'Revival'.

He has received multiple Grammy Awards including several for Best Rap Album. In 2022 Eminem was inducted into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame and Rolling Stone included him in their list of 100 Greatest Artists Of All Time and 100 Greatest Song Writers Of All Time.

Best Eminem Karaoke Songs

Eminem's acclaimed works and global success are widely regarded to have broken racial barriers for the acceptance of white rappers within the popular music industry.

In the late 90's and 2000's much of his work made him widely controversial as it tended to violate basic morals which ultimately caused outrage around the world.

In 2002 the Vice President of African-American Themed Television Network BET (Black Entertainment Television) said:

Eminem gets a pass in the same vein that back during 'segregation' black folks had to be better than average, had to be the best to be accepted... he is better than the best. In his own way he is the best lyricist, alliterator and enunciator out there in hip-hop music. In terms of rapping about the pain that other disenfranchised people feel, there is no one better at their game than Eminem.

Why Is Hip-Hop So Appealing?

People can really connect to the elements of rhythm and beats and all these elements including the tempo and lyrics create music that brings people together. It is a style, an attitude that transcends all boundaries.

Personally, I just think rap music is the best thing out there, period. If you look at my deck in my car radio, your'e always going to find a hip-hop tape, that's all I buy, that's all I live, that's all I listen to, that's all I love.
